West Linn Brothers set the Standard
West Linn has always been known as a great town for Prep Football and many great players and teams have come out of there. The Lions are a powerhouse program and every year compete in the super tough Three Rivers League with the likes of Lake Oswego. This season we see the emergence of Senior Dallen Voeller as one of the pre-season selections as a Top 10 Wide Receiver. The 6'3", 190 speedster had a great Junior year and made some superb catches and runs to help his team succeed last year despite injuries to the starting QB at West Linn. He is a big agile target and his work ethic is incredible. I expect to see him play at the collegiate level and this 3.88 GPA student is already getting it done in the offseason hitting the weight room and making speed and agility clinics to get ready.
But the Voeller talent does not stop there. Younger brother Evan Voeller who has been an outstanding youth player has started to make his move and will come into West Linn as a 6'4", 240 pound Freshmen in 2009 and we are talking about a young man that can get the job done! Evan is mobile and has great balance and like his big brother he works extremely hard in camps and clinics to improve himself. Evan is an excellent O'Linemen as well as a D'end or D'tackle and he has a wonderful future ahead of him!
We wish to congratulate the Voeller Brothers and their family on not only their accomplishments on the field but off the field as well. This will be a great season to watch these two guys develop into some of the best talent that Oregon Has to offer.
